These cookies are perfect for kids parties but surely adults will also love them. They taste deliciously good and you can always replace the Smarties with big chocolate chips or some chunks of your favorite chocolate bars.

Smarties cookies

Ingredients
(makes 14 cookies)
100g butter.
100g muscovado sugar.
1tbsp honey.
150g self-rising flour.
100g Smarties.

Directions
Preheat oven to 180ºC (356F).
In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy; beat in honey.
Work in half the flour. Stir in Smarties with the remaining flour and work the dough between your fingers.
Divide into 14 balls. Place them, well spaced apart, on two baking sheets. Do not flatten them.
Bake for 12 minutes, until pale and golden on the edges. Cool on a wire rack.
Cookies will last, well wrapped at room temperature, for up to 4 days.

As you can see the color and texture of muscovado sugar (left) is way different than brown sugar (right).

  2. Seguro que con nueces estan mucho más buenas! :-) Sobretodo si dejas las cookies un poquito más blandas en el centro.
